Volt Tech 2-brush generator is 12 volt type, with gear kit included.
Features a closeinterferencefit, tool should be used to install gear.
Gear should not slide on loosely.
Pressing on the gear may force the solenoid out of the back.
Generator fits 1936-1969 FLH including Flathead models.
*~*~ Tech Note: On pre-1958 models case must be drilled to accept 5/16″ mount bolts.
*~*~ On 45″ Flathead models, Generator Strap may need to be removed and cases sanded down to accept larger Generator.
